Introduction

Our combined anti-wrinkle injections foundation and advanced course is your first step towards a career in cosmetic medicine.

This all inclusive one day hands-on training will cover the basics of aesthetic medicine and dermatology, the science behind anti-wrinkle injections, plus theoretical and practical training in both basic and advanced treatments of the upper face, lower face and off-label indications for anti-wrinkle injections.

Course Information


Prior to commencing this course, you will be provided with basic theoretical knowledge via our workbook. This pre-reading is essential prior to your practical training day. 

The full day of combined anti-wrinkle foundations and advanced will consist of small group sessions with our trainers, comprising of theory and practical sessions. Because of the small groups, your learning can be personalised, optimising your experience. You will be able to practice on live models and perform all upper face, lower face and off-label indications for anti-wrinkle injections. 

Treatments will include hands-on injecting of frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, brow lifts, bunny lines, masseter/jawline, perioral lines, downturned smile, platysmal bands and hyperhidrosis.

We have a focus on hands on training as well as observation. You will complete the course feeling confident to perform all treatments independently.

Lunch will be provided at our high end training facility. 

Covered in the one day anti-wrinkle injections foundations course is: 

  • Introduction to aesthetic medicine

  • The aesthetic consultation and consent process

  • Compliance and legal requirements 

  • Importance of clinical photography

  • Facial anatomy and indications for treatment

  • The science behind botulinum toxin

  • Perform treatments for common upper face areas including frown, forehead, crow’s feet, brow lift and bunny lines

  • Perform treatments for common lower face areas including perioral lines, DAOs, mentalis, masseters and platysmal bands

  • Perform axillary hyperhidrosis treatments

  • Complication management

  • Aftercare and follow-up
